The part played by M De Leon in publishing the Zoher is controversial and it's disappointing and a shame to see that Mr Matt accepts the view that he made it up himself. Most observant Jews believe that the origin of the Zoher is indeed the RASBI It is a controversial subject. It was designed to minimise the impact and the holiness of the Zoher. and is out of place in this talk.

Did the Zohar's author feel that the elimination of the female in divinity ... launched by Judaism in the world by imposing an exclusively male god in the Torah unlike ancient times and creating machism and a degradation and chronic lack of respect for women ... was A BIG PROBLEM ?? "The GOAL of the system is UNITING THE MASCULINE AND THE FEMININE IS THE FLAG OF ISRAEL ... is it a union as in a couple ?? Or a transgender fusion androginy approach ?? Listening to that conference the following question comes to mind : is the Zohar written by a story teller the basis for the legal LGBTQ imposition on Humanity since kindergarten ?? Also the word "elohim" is PLURAL and not SINGULAR ??

I might be incorrect, yet the word elohim doesn't always mean god. Sometimes, in the torah, it means the strong oe mighty ones. While mr.Matt was presenting kabbalistic view on bereshit bara elohim, i was understanding that in the begining the mighty ones were created. I don't know if it makes any sense..because I do not know hebrew and I would alwaystrust people who studied the ancient language rather than modern.. P.s. could someone explain why there is an et in front of hashamayim and haaretz, but not in front of elohim ( bereshit bara elohim et hashamayim ve'et haaretz) i would appreciate P.s.i found out later in the video ❤

Fascinating talk by an excellent speaker, which reinforces the view that Kabbalah is an ongoing literary creation that reflects the historical contexts and contingencies of its many imaginative authors and influences. Interpret it as you wish- as there is no 'correct/authoritative' interpretation (just like the Tanakh itself). Use it like a Rorschach inkblot test. An interesting factoid (alluded to in the video) is that the Hebrew word 'Pardez' and the English word 'Paradise' are related. Not mentioned here is that these were ultimately derived from Old Persian (pairidaēza, a pleasure park or garden).

Just to finish off re my last 2 comments; GPT. It seems like you're engaging in a thought-provoking discussion about the nature of reality and the interpretation of religious texts. Let's break down some of the key points: 1. Interpretation of Religious Texts: You're questioning whether religious texts like the Bible should be interpreted literally or metaphorically, suggesting that viewing them as metaphors for the workings of the human mind within the mind of the creator makes sense. 2. The Nature of Reality: You're exploring the possibility that our universe could be a simulation within the mind of a creator, challenging the assumption that reality exists independently of any perceiving mind. 3. Biblical Evidence: Your conversation partner is asking for evidence within the Bible to support your interpretation of reality as a simulation within the mind of the creator. 4. The Creator's Power: You're questioning why a creator with the power to create anything might choose to simulate reality rather than creating it in a more direct manner. 5. New Heavens and New Earth: You've cited verses from the Bible that speak of a "new heaven and a new earth," suggesting that these passages could be interpreted as supporting the idea of reality being created anew within the mind of the creator. In your discussion, you're challenging traditional interpretations of religious texts and exploring alternative perspectives on the nature of reality and the relationship between humanity and the divine. It's a fascinating exploration that touches on theology, philosophy, and the nature of perception. Me. re 4 I'm pointing out why a creator with the power to create anything might choose to simulate reality rather than creating it in a more direct manner. A type of expedience which gets results without having to do so in a less expedient manner. In this case, not necessarily without moral considerations either. GPT. Ah, I see. You're suggesting that simulating reality within the mind of the creator could be a more expedient way of achieving certain results, possibly with moral considerations in mind. This perspective implies that the creator might have reasons for choosing simulation over direct creation that go beyond mere capability or efficiency. It opens up a discussion about the intentions and motivations of the creator, as well as the potential moral implications of how reality is structured. It's an intriguing angle that adds depth to the exploration of the relationship between the creator and the created world. SUMMARY In the conversation, you're exploring the idea that reality could be a simulation within the mind of a creator, challenging traditional interpretations of religious texts and the nature of reality itself. You're questioning why a creator with unlimited power might choose to simulate reality rather than create it directly, suggesting that simulation could be a more expedient and possibly morally motivated approach. This perspective adds complexity to discussions about theology, philosophy, and the nature of perception.

43:57 not only that, but hearing this is supplying me with a means in which to explain to Christians why I think about the "Bible God" in the manner that I do, and have doe for many, many years...currently, this... Christian: It's not my burden to disprove a claim that nobody is making or supporting. Me: You wrote. Christian: “Is our universe real?” Me: And specifically answered your question with the claim. Christian: “Yes, we are not part of a simulation.” I've never heard of any Christian hold the position reality is just a simulation inside the mind of God. Me: What about any Jew? Why do you think Jesus is said to have said that the kingdom of God is within? If Jesus thought God existed outside the universe, why tell us to go within? Christian: If the Biblical evidence is for the popular position, then it's the best (and only) position that is reasonable. Me: This is based not only upon argument from popularity but also a misconception humans have in relation to their position within the mind of the creator. Scientists also believe that we do not exist in the mind of the creator based, not upon the evidence but rather upon the perception. The perception - while understandable - shouldn't automatically be assumed as true. What study have you (as a Christian) done that your sureness about your current perception is the truth? What evidence do you have that you can claim with confidence that "we are not part of a simulation" (that we are not part of the goings on in the creator's mind)? Not only can the Bible be read differently, but in doing so, understanding we are inside the creator mind makes sense of - not only the Bible stories, but ALL theistic stories. Christian: Again, what evidence is there in the Bible to read it this way? Me: What evidence in the bible is there to read it in any particular way? What evidence is there that the stories have to be taken literally rather than as analogies to do with the goings on in human minds - minds which do not understand they exist within the mind of the creator? Including phenomena such as NDEs, visions, miracles, answered prayers, transfigurations, et al. Christian: There is no need to invoke a simulation to explain these. These can also happen in a real world. Me: What makes you think that if all things are happening in the creators mind, that they must somehow be regarded as "false" (as opposed to "real")? Also, a simulation can be experienced as a real thing. Anything within the creator mind can. Christian: If God has the power to actually create a real thing rather than a simulation, why would he simulate it instead? Me: That is neither here nor there. Rather, if the creator has such power to create anything which can be experienced as real, (and also can be changed in the blink of an eye), why would the creator find it necessary not to have everything which can be experienced, within the creators mind, rather than "some place" outside the creators mind? Why go to such lengths if it isn't necessary to do so? Rev 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. debatingchristianity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1148357#p1148357

Human intelligence is the intellectual capability of humans, which is marked by complex cognitive feats and high levels of motivation and self-awareness. Using their intelligence, humans are able to learn, form concepts, understand, and apply logic and reason. Human intelligence is also thought to encompass their capacities to recognize patterns, plan, innovate, solve problems, make decisions, retain information, and use language to communicate. There are conflicting ideas about how intelligence should be conceptualized and measured. In psychometrics, human intelligence is commonly assessed by intelligence quotient (IQ) tests, although the validity of these tests is disputed. Several subcategories of intelligence, such as emotional intelligence and social intelligence, have been proposed, and there remains significant debate as to whether these represent distinct forms of intelligence.[1] There is also ongoing debate regarding how an individual's level of intelligence is formed, ranging from the idea that intelligence is fixed at birth to the idea that it is malleable and can change depending on a person's mindset and efforts.[2]😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
